Intent, Implementation & Impact Statements:
The aim of the Science curriculum is to encourage students to develop their curiosity, enjoyment and understanding of science whilst broadening their understanding of the world around us. We aim to equip the students with skills they are able to transfer to the work place such as developing an enquiring mind, critical thinking and problem solving. This will be through enquiry lead lessons that challenge their thinking and by using a wide range of teaching methods, including as much relevant practical experience as possible.
