Appleby Grammar School

A modern school, with traditional values

Homework

Homework is an integral aid to reinforcing the learning and teaching that goes on in school.

Appleby Grammar School has a Homework Club which runs every lunchtime from 12.25-1.25pm.

This takes place in the School library and the adjoining Room 1 Computer Room. This is open to all year groups.

The Homework club is supervised by members of staff from the Learning Support Department. Staff ensure that this is a supportive learning environment for students to do their work and also provide assistance should any student require some help.

At lunchtimes, within these rooms, students need to respect other members of the school community, by working quietly. These computers are only for use by students who require IT resources for their school work.
