Music
The music department encourages all students to enjoy and develop an appreciation of music. Students are supported to progress their musical talents and actively participate in a variety of musical pursuits regardless of previous experience.
A comprehensive range of extra-curricular music opportunities supports the musical skills developed in lessons. For example; participation in the school orchestra, concert band, jazz band, choir and school theatrical performances. Private tuition is also available with talented peripatetic music tutors in a wide range of instruments and voice.
The music department has its own well equipped block which consists of teaching rooms, computer suite and practice rooms with access to many instruments.
